BEFORE THE REFIT

***BACK TO HOME PAGE***

Serendipity III, owned by Al P., was originally purchased by him new in 1973. The boat was used by Al and his family for cruising the Bahamas, Caribean and eastern United States. It completed the "Great Circle" route November of 2001, having left Florida after a short trip to the Bahamas early in Feburary of that year. The dates of land fall were Charleston S.C., May 19, Swansboro N.C., May 20, the Chesapeake, June 1, New York Harbour, June 20, Troy NY, June 26, Trent Severn Canal, July 10, North Channel, July 21, Georgian Bay, August 10, Lake Michigan, August 15, Chicago, September 1, Grand Rivers Kentuckey, September 15, Demopolis Alabama, October 1, then on to New Orleans and home. Now, I am the proud owner of this accomplished vessel and working on an extensive refit. I have renamed the vessel "DRIFTER'S REEF" and you can follow the progress on the S/V Drifters Reef page.
